You all may know andrew by his stage name, John Diehl. Who is John Diehl? He's made many a movie, but the best movie he's ever played in was Stripes.
You may recall this scene when all the new recruits were introducing themselves to Sgt. Hulka:
Cruiser: I joined the army 'cause my father and my brother were in the army. I figured I better join before I got drafted.
Sgt. Hulka: Son, there ain't no draft no more.
Cruiser: There was one?
Andrew spent 4 years in the Army and upon completing his tour of duty, started acting in 1980. Stripes was released in 1981, and afterwards he's played parts in over 66 other films.
Not happy with the roles he was being offered, Andrew moved back to the east coast to live the life of a normal person -- well, a normal life for a person raising five kids and likes to shoot skunks with his shotgun.
