::: cronies :::
Nathan has always had a knack for landscaping. But it wasn't until his mother gave him his first Fisher-Price mower that this two year old's green thumb sprouted. Nathan's Gnomes started off in an super niche market: meticulous maintenance of astroturf doormats. After scooping up 500 customers the first summer in business, the Gnomes branch out, adding three-season patio and indoor/outdoor carpet services. Given the Gnomes nose for business, Nathan began taking jobs using gas powered mowers and cutting real grass - quickly surpassing his rivals in affordability, quality of work, and customer satisfaction. Today with 139 horticultural patents, 127 nurseries nation-wide, over ten-thousand franchises, and service contracts for McDonald's, Burger King, Chick-Fil-A, and all Federally owned properties and National Parks, Nathan's Gnomes is the nations largest landscaping service. With gross revenue of $130 billion dollars in 1999, over $200 billion in 2000 and 2001, and projected revenue of $380 billion in 2002, Time Magazine has award Nathan with it's prestigious "Young Entrepreneurs Award"; placing his contagious smile on the cover of the August issue. Needless to say... with just three years under his belt, Nathan's Gnomes can only grow from here. The characters and events depicted in this biography are fictional. The characters bear no resemblance to any person living or dead. |
